Cher says son Elijah Blue Allman is missing, fears his money will be ‘spent on drugs’

Cher says her son Elijah Blue Allman is missing and is urgently requesting she be made his temporary conservator out of fear for his mental health.

The “Believe” singer filed new court documents Thursday stating that Allman is set to receive funds from a trust but is unable to appropriately “manage his finances” because of his “severe mental health and substance abuse issues.”

In the documents, obtained by Page Six, Cher argues that Allman’s money would be “immediately spent on drugs” with nothing left for him to take care of himself.

She also believes that without control over his finances Allman, 47, would put his “life at risk.”

The “If I Can Turn Back Time” performer, 77, also claimed in the documents that Allman’s wife with whom he recently reconciled, Marieangela King, would “take steps to prevent” Allman from learning of the conservatorship hearing set for Jan. 5.

Cher maintained in the court filing that having a temporary conservator would bring “no harm” to Allman’s finances.

Allman’s attorney didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Cher filed to become her son’s sole conservator at the end of December to assist managing his estate.

In the initial request, the “Moonstruck” star claimed Allman, whom she shares with late singer Gregg Allman, was unable to “form or express a preference” about the appointment of a conservator.

Cher noted in the filing that Allman makes $120,000 a year and “is entitled to regular distributions from a trust established by his father for his benefit.”

After Cher’s request became public knowledge, King told Page Six that she found the conservatorship “deeply disturbing.”

“And despite a clear pattern of being habitually bulldozed over and repeatedly undermined, a pattern that has existed throughout her 10 year marriage, Ms. King wholly rejects any inference that she is incapable of caring for her husband or making sound medical and/or financial decisions on his behalf,” the musician’s rep added in a separate statement.

King, 36, has been married to Elijah for 10 years.
