Captain America is proving he’s the captain of marriage.
Chris Evans was seen wearing his wedding ring for the first time since marrying Alba Baptista, as he posed for a photo taken at New York Comic Con this week.
The snap, seen below in both color and black and white formats, was shared by a fan who was lucky enough to snag a pic with the “Captain America: Civil War” star.
“So happy to meet chris evans again 🥹,” the fan, who goes by @alssiax on X (formerly Twitter), captioned her picture with the Marvel star.
The 42-year-old actor looked enthused to be meeting a fan, as he flashed a huge grin and wrapped his arm around her. A glimpse of his wedding band can also be seen on his left ring finger, which hung casually at his side.
The “Knives Out” star wore dark red pants with a white T-shirt, completing his outfit with a brown jacket. Along with his wedding band, the actor accessorized his look with a gold necklace.
Page Six broke the news on Sept. 10 that Evans married Baptista, 26, in an intimate wedding at their Boston-area home.
Though the “beautiful” ceremony was super hush-hush, we reported that the nuptials were attended by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Evans’ Marvel co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr.
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt supported the happy couple as well.
Page Six also learned that the newlyweds planned to celebrate their love once more in Portugal — Baptista’s home country — for members of her family who couldn’t make it to the US ceremony. They were then scheduled to depart for their honeymoon.
And their honeymoon phase won’t be ending anytime soon, as the “Lightyear” star revealed in this month’s GQ profile that he is purposefully taking fewer jobs so he can focus on his personal life.
“I haven’t worked all year, and I don’t plan to, which has been lovely,” he noted.
“My girlfriend that I’ve had for a while, when we began dating, I was like, ‘Yeah, I do one movie a year. I try to never work now,’” he said at the time.
Evans made the rare comments about his relationship before the pair walked down the aisle.
The Portuguese actress and the “Gray Man” actor first sparked romance rumors in 2021. They were then photographed holding hands for the first time in November 2022, confirming fans’ suspicions.
Just a few months prior to the PDA, the 2022 “Sexiest Man Alive” revealed he was “laser-focused” on finding a partner.
“You know, someone that you want to live — look, I love what I do, it’s great, I pour all of myself into it. But, even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration,” he explained in a Shondaland interview clip shared on X in July 2022.
“In terms of really trying to find something that you really pour all of yourself into, maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with.”
