Ciara Miller, Paige DeSorbo want Kyle Cooke to pull his ‘head out of his ass,’ prioritize relationship with Amanda Batula

Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller tell Page Six that they encouraged Kyle Cooke to prioritize his marriage with Amanda Batula on the new season of “Summer House.”

Cooke previously admitted to Page Six that DeSorbo and Miller left him “in tears,” because of “how aggressive” they “came” at him in a conversation about his relationship last summer.

But now, DeSorbo and Miller are setting the record straight, telling us they “didn’t say anything mean” — “he’s just sensitive” and “his emotions took over a little bit.”

“We were also being insanely honest and just trying to get him to pull his head out of his ass and look at the situation from an objective standpoint –– like, this is your wife,” Miller tells us.

Miller, 28, acknowledges that Cooke, 41, has a lot going on with his canned cocktail company Loverboy, and he “can’t help but think of everything that he has going on in his life,” but he still needs to make Batula, 32, his priority.

“You need to take a minute and like, you’re married now. You are responsible for another person now, and like, this is your wife. Put Loverboy down for a minute. Put your own goals and your own dreams down for just a second and look at each other. Look at the situation collectively,” Miller adds.

DeSorbo, 31, chimes in, saying Cooke is “just an emotional guy.”

“That was not the only time he cried this summer,” Miller teases.

Despite any marital woes that play out between Cooke and Batula, DeSorbo and Miller both applaud their two friends for being married, working together at Loverboy and filming “Summer House” together.

“They don’t give themselves enough credit. They actually are a great couple. They’re very hard on themselves. But yes, to work together, to live together, to be married, like it’s a lot of every day with each other. I had to go out of state. I could have never,” DeSorbo says, referring to her long-distance relationship with Craig Conover.

The Season 8 trailer teases that Batula and Cooke –– who tied the knot in September 2021 –– get into a few arguments that leave Batula “so mad” and Cooke sobbing by himself in a corner, but it’s unclear what caused the fights.

“When it comes to Kyle and Amanda, I feel like I’ve known them for so long now. Of course, Amanda will always be my number one, but I have become closer with Kyle, and I do really appreciate my friendship with Kyle,” DeSorbo says of being there for both Cooke and Batula.

DeSorbo explains that because she’s “so close to both of them,” she often finds herself “in the middle” and repeating information to one of them that the other told her.

“There was really never any animosity between the three of us, and I feel like I know them maybe the best in the house in terms of their relationship, so I feel like they felt comfortable saying certain things to me, because there was no judgment, no bias,” DeSorbo adds.

Miller agrees and says they have “no sides,” and they tried their best to listen to both Batula and Cooke.

“I think that they both have valid points on their own, and the goal is always to bring them together and not separate them more,” Miller adds. “I think Kyle’s more stubborn and Amanda has her way of doing things, so we’re trying to bridge that gap typically.”

DeSorbo, Miller, Batula and Cooke will also deal with another rocky relationship, as Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s breakup will play out in the new season.

The former couple’s breakup was filmed for the hit Bravo show, and Radke previously told us that he hopes viewers “understand how it could end like that.”

Returning cast members Danielle Olivera and Gabby Prescod will also star in the new season, along with two newbies, Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.

Season 8 of “Summer House” premieres Thursday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.
