Danny Masterson’s ex-stepdad accuses his kids of lying to help actor in rape trial: ‘It’s bulls–t’

Danny Masterson’s former stepfather challenged the validity of his children’s letters to a judge, which were written in an attempt to elicit leniency for the actor’s 30-year-to-life prison sentence.

“They make it sound like I walked out and abandoned them, and that Danny was the hero,” Joe Reaiche, father to Masterson’s half-siblings Alanna and Jordan Masterson, told the Daily Beast in a new interview.

“They were actually making money, and I was giving them money.”

Reaiche was referring to the letters Alanna and Jordan wrote to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo.

They asked for leniency on Masterson’s Sept. 7 sentencing after the “That ’70s Show” star was found guilty of rapes that took place in 2003.

The letters, along with others written by Masterson’s “That ’70s Show” co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, were released to the public the following day.

While Reaiche’s relationship with his and ex-wife Carol Masterson’s children — including his stepchildren Danny and Christopher — was cut off after Reaiche was excommunicated from the Church of Scientology, Reaiche alleged that Alanna and Jordan’s timeline of their falling out is inaccurate.

Within the letters, Alanna and Jordan claimed that Reaiche’s relationship with the kids ended when they were just 6 and 4 years old. However, Reaiche claimed that this was incorrect.

“Carol filed for divorce in 1995 in Los Angeles. Jordan was born in 1986. He was 9, not 6. There’s the first incorrect thing,” he told the outlet.

“I paid for their summer school at that expensive Scientology school in Oregon, Delphi. That was $5,000 each. And I took them everywhere,” Reaiche shared, alleging that he spent an estimated $300,000 on Jordan and Alanna in the decade between his divorce and the excommunication.

Despite the divorce, Reaiche claims that he was still very much present in his children’s lives up until the Church of Scientology banned him in 2005 — when Jordan was 19 and Alanna 17 — claiming that he was a “suppressive person.”

“If they had said our parents divorced when we were 9 and 7, that would be one thing. But they say I left like I abandoned them,” Reaiche added.

“It’s bulls–t. They perjure themselves.”

Reaiche also told the outlet that he assisted Alanna and Jordan in landing prominent acting roles before the excommunication.

Alanna would go on to land a role in the “Walking Dead” while Jordan starred in the sitcom “Last Man Standing.”

Reaiche also claimed that he helped Danny in securing a mortgage for his home in California, where the rapes allegedly took place between 2001 and 2003.

Following Reaiche’s excommunication from the Church of Scientology in 2005, however, his relationship with his children came to a halt. The father of two shared that he has not directly heard from his children since then.
