David Beckham put his wife, Victoria Beckham, on blast after she attempted to claim in Netflix’s new “Beckham” docuseries that she came from a “working-class” family.
The former Manchester United player set his wife straight after she slightly exaggerated her childhood while talking to a producer in a solo interview.
“We both come from families that work very hard,” the fashion designer, 49, said. “We’re very working-class.”
After hearing the comment, her husband, 48, poked his head through the door and told her to “be honest.”
When Victoria replied back, “I am being honest,” David asked her to reveal the type of car her dad drove her to school in when she was a kid.
When she attempted to wriggle out of the answer, David interrupted her again, and their bantering continued.
“It depends,” Victoria said in defense, with David arguing, “No, no, no,” until the former Spice Girl finally relented.
“OK, in the ’80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce,” Victoria, aka Posh Spice, conceded, with David then telling her, “Thank you.”
A clip of the hilarious exchange posted on TikTok has already garnered over four million views.
“I love the fact that he called her out 😂 👏👏,” one fan wrote in the comments section.
“Your [sic] posh spice for A REASON lol,” a second delighted fan stated, while another noted, “The fact he was clearly listening at the door is hysterical.”
Victoria grew up in Essex, England, where her father founded an electronics wholesale business. His job provided the family with a comfortable lifestyle, including that luxe Rolls-Royce car.
Aside from Victoria’s upbringing, the documentary also shined a light on the fallout from David’s alleged affairs with Rebecca Loos and Sarah Marbeck.
In 2003, David moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid, while Victoria stayed in the UK with their two young boys, Brooklyn and Romeo. After headlines of the rumored trysts began to circulate, Victoria relocated to Spain.
“It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life,” Victoria admitted while reflecting on her mental state at the time.

David also got emotional while remembering those challenging times in their relationship.
“I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty,” the Inter Miami CF owner said in the documentary.
“Victoria is everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters,” he added. “At that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family.”
The two were luckily able to overcome their difficult times. About a year after Victoria moved to Spain, they welcomed their third child, son Cruz, in 2005.
The high-profile pair, who married in 1999, also share daughter Harper, 12.
