David Schwimmer keeps a low profile in NYC after ‘Friends’ co-star Matthew Perry’s death

David Schwimmer kept a low profile as he walked the streets of New York City following the death of his longtime co-star, Matthew Perry.

Photos obtained exclusively by Page Six show the “American Crime Story” star, 56, leaving his Manhattan home Monday morning in a blue baseball cap.

The actor attempted to hide his identity in a white protective face mask. He also covered up from the cooler temperatures in the city with a black puffer jacket worn over a gray turtle neck sweater and black sweatpants.

He kept his eyes focused on his phone, before getting into a black SUV.

It comes one day after he was spotted for the first time while collecting a takeout order of Chinese food at his door after the news of his co-star’s death.

He stepped outside briefly with his ex-wife Zoë Buckman, whom he was married to from 2010 to 2017, before flashing a peace sign and going back indoors.

Schwimmer starred alongside Perry for all 10 seasons of the iconic sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004.

The “17 Again” actor was just 54 years old when he was found dead in his hot tub from an apparent drowning Saturday.

Emergency services rushed to his Los Angeles home after receiving a call about a cardiac arrest from his assistant, who found him unconscious.

An official cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but law enforcement sources told TMZ that there were no signs of foul play.

Meanwhile, an industry source told us the cast of “Friends” were “reeling” from Perry’s sudden death.

“The cast is reeling from the loss of their brother, because that’s what Matty was — their brother,” an insider told us Sunday, noting Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow were preparing to release a joint statement.

“It’s just devastating,” they added.

Perry, who was open about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction through the years, remained incredibly close with Aniston after the series wrapped.

“She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I’m really grateful to her for that,” he told Diane Sawyer in 2022.

In his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” he also noted that the “Morning Show” actress confronted him when his substance abuse became evident to his cast mates.

However, the source added, “The entire cast are close, they will be devastated because they were together through the best of times and worst of times.”

“And when Matty was sick, they protected him, they looked after him fiercely,” they continued.
