Dolly Parton’s sister and Whoopi Goldberg defend singer’s sexy Dallas Cowboys costume: ‘Bite me’

No one messes with Dolly.

Whoopi Goldberg and Dolly Parton’s sister, Stella Parton, are among the celebs who have spoken up in support of the sexy Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit the “9 to 5” singer wore during a Thanksgiving day performance last Thursday — and they had some harsh messages for the haters.

While Dolly, 77, looked incredible on Thanksgiving as she rocked the tight, sparkly look for her halftime performance the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders game, plenty of social media users attacked her for wearing the super-short white shorts and busty top worn by the Cowboys’ cheerleaders.

Goldberg, 68, kicked off Monday’s episode of “The View” by addressing the controversial look, quipping, “Apparently, my turkey wasn’t the only thing online that people were hating.”

While the talk show host thought Dolly “stole the show on Thanksgiving” she shared that “some critics told her to act her age.”

“Bite me,” Goldberg told the cameras, adding that “everybody that participated in this, you should be ashamed of yourself.”

She also compared the situation to the “grief” people recently gave Beyoncé’s 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, over the dance moves she performed during her mom’s Renaissance tour.

As for Dolly’s sister, Stella, who is also a country singer, she took to Twitter to defend her older sibling.

“I personally thought my big sister Dolly was cute as hell in her Dallas Cowboys cheerleading costume at the half time show on Thanksgiving,” she wrote, adding, “To those of you being so critical of a 77 year old kicking up her heels, I say f—k yourself. Shame on you not her.”

Plenty of fans chimed in on Stella’s post to support Dolly, like one who wrote, “Your sister looked amazing in that costume and far better than most of us decades younger. I can only imagine it is jealousy. I think Dolly looks prettier than ever.”

“Your sister KILLED it in that Dallas Cowboy cheerleader outfit!” another fan added. “She had fun and looked damned good! Good on her for doing what she wants to!”

“My daughter and I watched her in amazement! She could pass for 50 easy! We love her!” a third Twitter user wrote.

Stella and Goldberg join a host of other famous faces who praised the country legend’s sparkly costume, with former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo saying she looked “amazing” during the broadcast and Lala Kent taking to her Instagram Story to write “Hell yeah Dolly.”

As for her sexy looks, we’ll have whatever Dolly’s having.
