Donald Trump wanted to ‘prank-call’ CNN’s Chris Cuomo from White House with Andrew Cuomo, new book alleges

They could’ve been the Jerky Boys of politics.

An upcoming book claims that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and President Donald Trump once tried to prank-call Cuomo’s little brother, former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, from the White House.

In her new memoir “What’s Left Unsaid: My Life at the Center of Power, Politics & Crisis,” Gov. Cuomo’s former top aide Melissa DeRosa recalls a White House meeting when Trump suggested to Cuomo that they punk his junior bro.

“What’s Chris’ number?” Trump, 77, allegedly requested while picking up the phone in the Oval Office before having a meal together, according to the tome, out on Oct. 24.

When Cuomo was confused, DeRosa writes that Trump added, “Your brother. What’s his number? It would be hilarious if we prank-called him right now.”

Cuomo’s phone had been taken by security per protocol, and he repeatedly dodged, the book reports, by saying he thought Chris “is busy right now,” but that he’d pass along a message.

“Oh, come on, it would be so funny!” Trump allegedly protested before they turned their attention to their munching.

Finally, the former president relented by saying, “OK, fine. But, it would have been fun,” before an assistant told him the day’s menu.

“The whole thing felt like I was having an out-of-body experience,” recalls DeRosa.

Cuomo was apparently in Washington, DC, at the time to ask the feds for infrastructure funding after the COVID-19 crisis.

The Post reported in 2020 that Cuomo said he met with Trump days after they had an enormous row on Twitter and national TV.

Chris was later ousted from CNN for allegedly helping his brother navigate his own political scandal.

During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the pair made headlines by cracking jokes at each other and arguing about which bro was their mother’s favorite.

But in 2021, Chris, 53, was fired from his longtime gig after reports that he advised the then-governor on how to dodge sexual misconduct accusations, which Andrew, 65, denied. Chris also denied any wrongdoing.

In her bombshell book, DeRosa also dishes on New York Attorney General Letitia James, New York City Mayor Eric Adams and others.
