Drew Barrymore rocks Julia Fox-inspired dominatrix boots in must-see style swap

Drew Barrymore is channeling her inner Julia Fox.

The talk show host, who was joined on “The Drew Barrymore Show” by the model, rocked a dominatrix-styled outfit similar to one Fox has worn in the past.

In a teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode posted to X (formerly Twitter), Barrymore shocked Fox when she walked on stage in black platform Marc Jacobs boots, a pleated plaid knee-length skirt and a denim off-the-shoulder top.

She accessorized her risky look with chunky silver necklaces.

Fox, 33, was left speechless as a photo of herself in a similar outfit from last month flashed on the screen.

“Wow, you look amazing,” she repetitively told the “Never Been Kissed” star.

Barrymore, 48, decided to try on the daring look after diving into the topic of fashion with the mom of one.

“I wanted to ask you if you’ve ever thought about doing a fashion show?” the “Charlie’s Angels” star inquired.

Fox, who sported an oversized gray blazer and knee-high brown leather boots for the appearance, confirmed she was working on a runway project titled “OMG Fashun” with Scout Productions.

Her look resembled one Fox wore last month.

The news prompted Barrymore, who was originally wearing a beige suit with nude high heels, to leap from her seat and rush backstage to change.

“Where is she going? Is this normal?” Fox questioned before jokingly taking over for Barrymore.

“Anyways, welcome to my segment,” the “Uncut Gems” star added moments before the mom of two rushed back on stage.

The “Never Been Kissed” actress changed into the daring look after asking the “Uncut Gems” star if she ever considered being in a fashion show.

Last month, Barrymore announced her daytime show would return to air amid the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, which ended on Oct. 3.

“I own this choice,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “We are in compliance with not discussing or promoting film and television that is struck of any kind.

“We launched live in a global pandemic. Our show was built for sensitive times and has only functioned through what the real world is going through in real-time.”

When Fox revealed she had a planned runway event coming up, Barrymore rushed off behind the stage.

The decision led to the “50 First Dates” actress receiving massive backlash from fans and other celebrities, including Rosie O’Donnell.

The “A League of Their Own” star, 61, urged Barrymore to “apologize to all union members who are withstanding real hardship” as she lives “a life of luxury.”

O’Donnell also suggested that the host should stop taping the show and “stop asking audiences to cross the picket line.”

The model was then left alone for several minutes before the host came running back in her edgy fit.

A day later, Barrymore decided to hit pause on the Season 4 premiere of her talk show.

”I have listened to everyone, and I am making the decision to pause the show’s premiere until the strike is over,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I have no words to express my deepest apologies to anyone I have hurt and, of course, to our incredible team who works on the show and has made it what is today.”
