Ed Sheeran has entered the chat amid rumors that Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” will be her next re-recorded album following the upcoming release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
During Monday’s episode of Andy Cohen’s “Deep & Shallow Podcast” on SiriusXM, the “Perfect” singer revealed he has yet to record a new version of their collaboration “End Game” from her sixth studio album.
“No, I haven’t. No. But ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is the next one coming out. That’s the next one,” Sheeran said.
The 2017 track from “Reputation” also features rapper Future.
Additionally, the “Eyes Closed” musician, 32, admitted he hasn’t been able to catch a stop on the pop star’s Eras Tour since he’s currently on the road for his own Mathematics Tour.
“I would love to go and see Taylor’s show, but we’re all playing on the same dates every single weekend. I think there’s a chance, next year when she’s in the UK, then I’ll be free,” he said.
Swift, 33, announced the forthcoming release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” during her sixth and final concert in Los Angeles last week.

“There’s something that I’ve been planning for a really, really, really, ridiculously, embarrassingly long time, and instead of telling you about it, I think I’ll just sort of show you,” she said while performing onstage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
Following a dramatic pause, the cover artwork for the re-recorded album appeared on the big screen behind her.
The announcement sparked screams and cheers of excitement from the sold-out crowd as she revealed the release date will be Oct. 27 — exactly nine years after the original version came out.
The Grammy winner has spent the past few years re-recording new versions of her first six albums after Scooter Braun acquired the rights to her music in 2019.
Swift has already released re-recorded versions of 2008’s “Fearless,” 2010’s “Speak Now” and 2012’s “Red.”
