Fans were taken aback when Reese Witherspoon revealed she ate snow she scraped off of her vehicle.
“Snow days were made for Chococinnos ❄️☕️,” the “Legally Blonde” star captioned a video posted on TikTok Friday.
Witherspoon gave her followers a step-by-step tutorial of how to prepare the DIY snowy dessert, first showing a video of her shoveling snow into two pink-and-white-striped mugs.
“So we got a ton of snow over the past few days. We decided to make a recipe,” the “Morning Show” star said in a voiceover.
“So first we scooped the snow into cups, and we added salted caramel syrup, and some chocolate syrup. And then we decided to add some cold brew.”
While Witherspoon, 47, appeared in bliss as she tasted the snowy concoction, fans took to social media to call her out for eating “dirty” snow.
“The way she’s just eating pollution slush puppies lmao,” one user tweeted.
Another wrote, “She’s cute but this doesn’t seem very clean. A bird could have pooped in the ice pile. 😩”
“Does she not know how much bacteria is in snow,” a third added, while another user called the recipe “trifling.”
Despite the concerns and critical reviews, other fans stood by “Big Little Lies” star’s home recipe.
“Fallen snow can be very dirty from the air and wind but who cares. You only live once. I remember eating snow as a kid. 👍🏻,” one user commented via TikTok.

Witherspoon — who shares two adult children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe — has come a long way since first learning the ropes of TikTok with her son Deacon.
In 2019, the A-lister had her now 20-year-old son shaking his head as she asked him to teach her how to make dance videos on the popular platform.
At one point as she practiced her moves, the now-New York University student even admitted that his mother looked “pretty cool.”
He eventually called the dancing “so embarrassing” as he signaled for the person holding the camera to stop recording.
Witherspoon also shares daughter Ava, 24, with Phillippe, 49, as well as 11-year-old son, Tennessee, with ex-husband Jim Toth.
Deacon has had his own troubles when it comes to social media, though.
The aspiring musician was heavily criticized recently when he was featured on a popular social media page that tours pricey New York City homes.
“Rich kids / nepo babies LOVE to avoid mentioning their extremely wealthy parents,” one user said of Deacon’s apartment tour, while another wrote, “The trust fund baby life.”
However, other users praised Deacon for being so “laid back” and commended him for having roommates despite his wealthy parents.
“[He’s] not a regular college student … he can get any apartment he wants,” one person wrote, adding, “Even so he got roommates he looks chill.”
