Fans think Trisha Yearwood looks unrecognizable after weight loss, bangs

Trisha Yearwood debuted a brand-new look — and her fans can’t believe their eyes.

The country music star shared a series of new photos of herself from backstage at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace — where her husband, Garth Brooks, has a residency — showing off her freshly chopped bangs, writing, “Closing out Vegas ‘23 with a bang!”

Naturally, some of her followers flooded her comments section with Ozempic speculation.

“I asked if she took ozem [sic] or another med and my comment was removed,” commented one follower.

“She doesn’t even look the same?? Is this really her?” questioned another.

“Omg what happens when you can’t take the ozempic?” asked one fan.

“I need bangs & OZEMPIC! 🤣🤣🤣,” joked another.

Her changing appearance prompted fans to speculate if she was using weight-loss medication to shed the pounds. trishayearwood/Instagram

Others defended Yearwood, 59, against the critics who approached the post with “negativity.”

“Why is [it] that when a women decides to lose weight, update her makeup and hair that there is so much negativity,” wondered one user.

“Why can’t we as women be happy for her and celebrate her. I say good for her. You look amazing Trisha ❤️.”

The “Back Home Again” singer hasn’t responded to any of her curious fans about her updated appearance.

If Yearwood has been using weight-loss medication, she’d just be the latest on an ever-growing list of celebrities who have turned to Ozempic or similar drugs to shed the pounds.

Most recently, Oprah Winfrey admitted to using using medication to lose weight and maintain her figure after years of yo-yoing.

“The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,” shared the famed talk show host, 69.

“I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.”
