What an epic first season it’s been on Squid Game: The Challenge, and we can’t wait to see which of its three finalists emerges victorious — and USD 4.56 million richer — during the finale on December 6, 2023.
Netflix’s reality take on its hit Korean drama Squid Game launched on Wednesday 22 November with the first five episodes, which saw 456 players taking on trials similar to the original show in a bid to get their hands on the $4.56 million cash prize.
While most of the games remained the same, the Squid Game: The Challenge contestants were left in shock in episode three with the introduction of a new game, War Ships, instead of the tug of war challenge which the show decided to exclude.
There were lots more twists along the way, including the opportunity to eliminate other players. Now just down to three players after an intense game of Circle of Trust, the competition is well and truly on for the final.
But, who will take home the life-changing cash prize and be named the first winner of Squid Game: The Challenge?

When is the finale of Squid Game: The Challenge, and who are the finalists?
The final episode will arrive on Netflix on Wednesday 6th December and will see one of the final three contestants named the show’s first winner. They’ll be awarded the $4.56 million cash prize.
Players 287 (Mai), 451 (Phil) and 016 (Sam) remain in the competition.

There are 10 episodes in total for Squid Game: The Challenge.
The first five are available to watch on Netflix now.

The show launched on Wednesday 22nd November with the first five episodes, followed by a further four episodes on 29th November. The final episode will arrive next week on Wednesday 6th December.
