Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper reportedly hit things off after being introduced by the actor’s ex Irina Shayk.
Just one week after the supermodel, 28, and actor, 48, first sparked romance rumors, an insider revealed to The Messenger how the seemingly random couple came to be.
“Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry,” the source told the outlet.
“Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings.”
While it’s unclear when Cooper and Hadid’s friendship turned romantic, the insider says the pair was recently “bonding over their daughters, when Bradley asked her out.”
“He pursued her and she was definitely interested and excited,” the source added. “They have been casually seeing each other but it is extremely new.”
However, Hadid — who shares 3-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik — apparently has no interest in getting into a “serious relationship” right now. Cooper is also a father, as he shares 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with 37-year-old Shayk.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Cooper, Hadid and Shayk for comment.
Shayk’s set up may come as a surprise to some given the fact that she and Cooper sparked reconciliation rumors over the summer.
The Russian beauty and the “Star is Born” actor were spotted getting touchy-feely while on an Italian vacation with their daughter in August.
During the same trip, the model shared a series of sultry shirtless snaps to her Instagram alongside a photo of Cooper laying on a kayak, notably also without a shirt on.
Sources told Page Six at the time time that Shayk — who is rumored to be dating Tom Brady — still wants to settle down with Cooper.

However, the model apparently plans to keep spending time with Brady if Cooper isn’t going to “lock things down” with her.
Yet until that time comes, it appears the pair — who are “best friends” — are having fun playing the field.
Cooper and Hadid sparked romance rumors at the beginning of October after they were spotted grabbing a bite to eat at Via Carota.
Just days later, they were photographed arriving back in NYC after going on an apparent weekend getaway together.
Neither star has addressed their blossoming romance.
