Critics are mocking Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skin line after the brand made a major error via Instagram.
Bieber, 26, posed pin-up style in a sexy, high-waisted bikini while leaning against a red vintage Corvette convertible to promote her new Strawberry Glaze products.
“🍓 season. new treats are on the way 🚗,” the post was captioned.
In the comments section, Bieber’s company made a serious snafu after an eager customer inquired about the availability of the new line in Alaska.
“Does Rhode ship to Alaska?” the fan asked on the post.
The skincare company then replied, “Our team is working hard to have rhode available in additional countries soon! stay tuned for more updates to come.”
Eagle-eyed social media users spotted the hilarious response and swiftly flooded the comments section to call attention to the gaffe, writing things like, “@rhode Alaska is in the USA 😂😂” and “@rhode hahahaha this is hilarious, Alaska is USA lol😂lol😂 definitely ignorance is bliss 😂.”
However, it’s important to note that elsewhere in the comments section, the brand responded with the same statement when a fan asked if the line would become available in Germany. So it’s quite possible the company is using a blanket statement to field inquiries.
Rhode dropped its new limited edition of Rhode’s peptide lip treatment ($16) in Strawberry Glaze, which was inspired by Krispy Kreme’s strawberry glaze donut.
The model fittingly celebrated the launch in a New York City Krispy Kreme shop on Monday and rocked several berry-inspired outfits during her press circuit.
“Feeling over the moon today🍓❤️,” she wrote via Instagram Monday, along with several snaps of her fruity fits from the launch.
While the skincare guru was ultra chic in ensembles by Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs and Ermanno Scervino, her husband, Justin Bieber, was on hand looking disheveled in tattered sweats.
The “Sorry” crooner was photographed rolling up to the launch event wearing a gray zip-up with matching fleece shorts, bright yellow Crocs and a backward pink trucker hat.
Justin, 29, celebrated his wife’s accomplishments by sharing a photo from the event where they were seen chatting with Krispy Kreme workers behind the counter.
“😍😍😍baby girl with the @rhode @krispykreme STRAWBERRY GLAZEEE,” he gushed in the caption of the post.
Justin, who rarely posts on Instagram these days, then shared a post-event snap of the couple cuddling in sweats on a private jet with their dogs, adding a heart-eyed emoji and a strawberry emoji in the caption.
