Hilarie Burton clapped back at Erin Foster’s claim that her ex-boyfriend Chad Michael Murray cheated on her with Sophia Bush back in 2002.
“Ooof. Cringe. I got off my red eye flight home and multiple people had sent me this headline. As the person who had a front row seat then? This wasn’t it,” the actress wrote on her Instagram Story Friday next to a screenshot of an article detailing Foster’s claims.
“We were all told you’d broken up which is why our guy was perusing [SIC] her,” she continued.
“Now this is being spun to make my sister look like a brazen harlot. And if she’s anyone’s harlot, it’s mine!”
The “One Tree Hill” actress, 41, went on to directly call out Foster, also 41, by tagging her in the post and letting her know she would be “happy to discuss” her accusations.
“There are so many unnamed sources making claims about the woman I love, so f–k it. I’ll be a named source,” she added.
“Lotta internet voices being nasty, and as the person who knows the real timeline? It would be laughable if it wasn’t so hurtful.”
Burton’s support of Bush came after Foster claimed her former beau had an affair with her while they were dating on Thursday’s episode of “The World’s First Podcast.”
“He definitely did cheat on me with her in, like, a pretty egregious way. While we were living together,” she confidently stated.
She then joked that she was “just barely” over the alleged infidelity.
Foster, whose dad is music icon David Foster, and Murray, 42, began dating in 2001 and it’s unclear as to when exactly they broke up.
As for Murray and Bush, they met on the set of “One Tree Hill” in 2003, and according to Foster, she and the former Hollywood heartthrob were still together.
However, the “Cinderella Story” star and Bush went public with their romance that year and got engaged in 2004. They tied the knot in 2005, only to divorce a few months later.
Burton also supported Bush after she appeared at the Los Angeles stop of her “Grimoire Girl” book tour on Wednesday night.
“My love @sophiabush dropped everything to come host my Grimoire Girl book tour stop in Los Angeles for @livetalksla . And naturally we both showed up in black velvet. She is my Owens Sister,” the former “TRL” host gushed in an Instagram post that included a selfie they took at the event plus a snap of them sweetly holding each other’s hands on stage.
“Lots of people will tell you they love you. But when someone walks the walk and shows up and ACTIVELY loves you? Keep them. Cherish them. Protect them,” she continued.
Burton concluded, “I am so lucky to have 20 years with this woman who is written on the pages of my personal Grimoire. But the next 20??? We’re just getting started.”
“Sophia. Lockstep. You and me babe. You are so deeply good. I love you.”
This new claim against Bush comes as she recently made news over her new relationship with soccer star Ashlyn Harris.
Their romance made headlines after Bush filed for divorce from Grant Hughes in August after 13 months of marriage.
Harris, meanwhile, filed for divorce from her wife of four years, Ali Krieger, in September.
Even their relationship has been followed by affair rumors, as Krieger’s older brother Kyle hinted that she was recently cheated on in a since-deleted Instagram comment.
“Love you and so proud of you!!” he told his younger sister. “These hoes ain’t loyal!! But me and your fans are!”
Neither Bush nor Harris have publicly commented on the shade.
