Are these models going to be “personae non Rata” at Madison Square Garden?
When Emily Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk sat courtside at a Knicks game on Nov. 24, the home team roared back from a 21-point hole to beat the Miami Heat 100-98.
But the models never saw the thrilling victory — they’d already buzzed off by the time the buzzer sounded, we hear.
Said a gobsmacked source: “They left early! I mean, people notice when the two of them walk out together.”
The sports insider added, “That was a big game against Miami . . . It was one of these [games in the] In-Season Tournament, [the NBA’s new annual competition,] and the Knicks stormed back . . . in the second half to win the game. An amazing comeback and an amazing win.”
We hear that EmRata and Shayk left their impossible-to-get seats with two minutes left and catwalked outta there, even though the game came down to a thrilling final seconds.
Shayk posted pics from the evening, mostly of her and Ratajkowski modeling their outfits, including on a forklift somewhere in the bowels of the Garden. But when the jumbotron showed them watching the game from center court, the models laughed and waved.
But we hear that fans’ eyebrows were raised when the fashion plates took their eyes off the ball and left, and their allegiance to the team was called into question.
Coveted floor seats for Knicks games go for thousands, and celebs are often given free tickets. No word on whether the models will be invited back.
Shayk had also been at another Knicks game this season, with fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.
Former Knicks superstar Charles Oakley was infamously banned from MSG after he had a bizarre dust-up with team owner James Dolan and security staff in the stands in 2017. The ban wound up lasting about a year.
Of course, Oak did a lot more than just leave early . . . but the fans may never forgive and forget.
Reps did not comment.
