Jamie Lynn Spears joining ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 32

Jamie Lynn Spears is putting on her dancing shoes!

The “Sweet Magnolias” actress will be competing on Season 32 of “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Alan Bersten, the dance competition series announced Tuesday on “Good Morning America.”

In light of the writers’ and screen actors guild strikes, Spears revealed she would donate her weekly salary to the organizations.

“I want to give back to them during at time when they can’t give back to themselves,” she said.

She also joked she’s “looking forward” to changes to her body in light of all the dancing she’s getting ready to do.

“Maybe I’ll come back here and be a dress size smaller,” she quipped.

Spears, 32, will be joining already announced reality TV stars Ariana Madix from “Vanderpump Rules” and Charity Lawson from “The Bachelorette” in the ballroom.

Page Six also confirmed earlier this month that actress Mira Sorvino will be vying for this year’s mirrorball trophy.

The full list of celebrities and their pro partners will be announced live during “GMA” on Wednesday.

While we’ll still have to wait one more day to find out all of the Season 32 stars, fans have been taking to social media with their best theories on who could potentially be on this season’s lineup.

Based on incognito paparazzi pics shot outside of a “DWTS” studio in Los Angeles – and new mystery snaps shared to the official Instagram and Twitter accounts for the show – fans have come up with some pretty interesting guesses.

Some accurately guessed Spears was behind one of the teaser shots, while others mentioned names like “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel and Kimberly J. Brown from the “Halloweentown” films.

Other guesses from fans on social media include “Brady Bunch” alum Barry Williams, NFL star Adrian Peterson and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards’ husband Mauricio Umansky.

“Ngl that looks like Jamie Lynn Spears w Alan [Bersten] and if it is we can say goodbye to any Britney songs on the show,” one fan wrote, alluding that the casting would be controversial given the siblings’ strained relationship.

“Is that Jamie Lynn Spears with Alan ?!” a second asked after seeing the new promo pics.

“I can totally see that being Jamie Lynn spears with Alan!” another added.

Back in September 2021, “DWTS” dedicated one of its entire shows to the legendary pop star in a special “Britney Night” tribute episode amid the viral #FreeBritney movement. The Grammy winner was still under her conservatorship at the time, but sources told Page Six that she was “aware” it was happening.

“We’re doing a whole night dedicated to Britney. It’s a lot of support, a lot of love. We [support] #FreeBritney,” pro dancer Gleb Savchenko told us ahead of the show. “She’s amazing … and everything’s happening for her. I’m so happy.”

Britney’s conservatorship was eventually terminated in November of that year, freeing her from the legal constraints put in place by her father, Jamie Spears, in 2008.

Sources told Page Six in August that the “Woman in Me” author is still not on good terms with her family, including Jamie Lynn and mother Lynne Spears.

“Dancing With the Stars,” co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, returns this fall on ABC and Disney+ and will stream on Hulu the following day.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli will all be back to judge the upcoming season.

None of the aforementioned celebrities have addressed any of the latest fan theories and ABC does not comment on casting rumors.
