Jamie Lynn Spears recalls ‘causing hell’ during sister Britney’s time on the ‘Mickey Mouse Club’

Jamie Lynn Spears opened up about “causing hell” while her sister, Britney Spears, filmed “The Mickey Mouse Club.”

The “Zoey 101” star admitted she was a distraction on set of the early ’90s show during Tuesday’s episode of the UK reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”

“I was like 3 or 4 and I was causing hell,” Jamie Lynn recalled, per People. “I was really bad.”

The Nickelodeon alum also recalled Britney introducing her to the cast and crew after her parents dressed her up to make a “good impression” with studio executives.

“I’m there at the stage, on my mama’s hip,” she explained. “[Britney says,] ‘This is Jamie Lynn, my little sister,’ and I went, ‘I just farted.’

“They were like, ‘It never mattered where we were, you always said something to make everyone uncomfortable.’”

While she never outgrew her bluntness, Jamie Lynn, 32, said she eventually learned how to filter herself.

“I think it’s something I still do now,” she explained. “As a child, you don’t know [how] to filter yourself. And now I know how to be direct, but with a filter, if that makes any sense. But as a kid, I was just very direct with no filter.”

The “Sweet Magnolias” star also revealed that she got to live at Disney World “for a couple of summers” thanks to Britney’s role on the show from 1993 to 1994.

She even recalled getting to meet some of the cast members, including Ryan Gosling who she referred to as a “lovely person in real life.”

Jamie Lynn has been outspoken about her relationship with Britney throughout her time on the ITV reality TV show.

In fact, she previously shared that the “Circus” hitmaker, 41, has been a “good big sister” — even though they still have their differences.

“Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, families fight. Listen, we just do it better than most,” Jamie Lynn said on the Nov. 25 episode.

The actress added, “Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing. We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways.”

She added that at times they have taken their frustrations out on each other when they probably shouldn’t have.

“I’ve been the one person in her life – and she can say this – I’ve never taken anything from her, you know?” she said. “I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.’”

Jamie Lynn also raved about Britney to fellow contestant Fred Sirieix a few days before.

“I love my sister,” she gushed. “Anything my sister did I always thought was the best.”

While Jamie Lynn has been singing Britney’s praises, the “Gimme More” songstress has painted her family in a bad light in recent years, even saying she believes they “should all be in jail.”

Last year, the pop star called out her younger sister on Instagram, referring to her as a “scum” and a “selfish little brat” for allegedly using her conservatorship to benefit financially and sell her memoir, “Things I Should Have Said.”

The “Woman in Me” author has also claimed Jamie Lynn played a part in her 13-year conservatorship by choosing to ignore how she was treated.
