John Stamos and Lori Loughlin reunited to record a silly dancing video last week — and “Full House” fans were thrilled to see them channeling their respective sitcom characters, Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky.
The pair, who starred on the ABC series for eight seasons from 1987 until 1995, linked up for a clip that sees them grooving to Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s 1983 hit “Islands in the Stream.”
In between jazz squares, step-touches and finger snaps with 59-year-old Loughlin, Stamos, 60, sings a bit of the iconic track. Both stars have wide smiles plastered on their faces.
“How’d we do?” Stamos asked fans in his caption for the video, shared via Instagram and TikTok.
According to Stamos’ famous friends, he and his TV wife gave an adorable performance.
“So cute,” Candace Cameron Bure, who played D.J. Tanner on “Full House,” wrote in his instagram comments section.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Diana Jenkins agreed, writing, “Super cute.”
Meanwhile, “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sasha Farber called their dancing “epic.”
Several fans were touched by the nostalgic nature of Stamos’ post. “I am so happy to see the two of you together because you were both a huge part of my childhood,” one person wrote. “Thank you.”

Another enthused, “My 12 year old self is screaming!!! Uncle Jesse & Aunt Becky foreverrrrr.”
But others expressed disappointment in Stamos for being the conduit for Loughlin’s social media comeback — three years after completing a stint behind bars for her role in the infamous college admissions scandal.
“How is he friendly with this woman? Her dealings were outrageous and wrong and hurt many,” one indignant fan of Stamos wrote in an Instagram comment that has racked up more than 1,770 “likes.”
“Really??” After what she did?” another individual asked, while many others echoed similar sentiments.
“She should never be on TV again. Every time I turn on the TV and I see her I turn it off,” someone else huffed, while another bluntly stated, “We are NOT supporting her.”
But Stamos has certainly stood by Loughlin’s side. In his recently released memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me,” Stamos revealed what his private conversations with Loughlin were like throughout the legal ordeal.
He said that Loughlin was oddly tapped out of the hubbub involving her daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella “Bella” Giannulli.
“I immediately text Lori, ‘Are you watching the news?’ ” he recalled in his book.
“An FBI agent is announcing the largest college admissions scandal ever handled by the Department of Justice, involving bribes to prestigious colleges for falsified student acceptances. She asks, ‘What channel?’ I text back in all caps: ‘EVERY CHANNEL!’”
The actress and her real-life husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty in May 2020 to bribing their daughters’ ways into the University of Southern California as fake rowing recruits.
After serving time in jail, Loughlin and Giannulli, 60, were released in December 2020 and April 2021, respectively.
