Halloween may be over, but Kate Beckinsale delivered quite the costume at Leonardo DiCaprio’s star-studded 49th birthday party on Saturday night.
The actress, 50, supported her “Aviator” co-star with a sartorial salute to one of his most famous films, wearing an itty-bitty minidress from The Blonds draped with a larger-than-life sapphire necklace reminiscent of the Heart of the Ocean from “Titanic.”
The supersized blue stone hung around her hip, while three rows of clear crystals adorned the bodice. Beckinsale accessorized with a black hair bow and towering platform heels.
“But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end?” one person commented on Fashion Bomb Daily’s Instagram post showcasing Beckinsale’s look, referencing to the gigantic jewel’s fate at the end of the movie.
Over on Beckinsale’s Instagram, fans worried about her safely navigating the streets in her perilously high shoes.
“You are going to do yourself a mischief wearing those heels, don’t come crying to me if you sprain an ankle,” one joked.
The ageless beauty recently took a tumble as she left a Halloween party in similarly tall stilettos, though the incident seemingly hasn’t dissuaded her from fierce footwear.

And Beckinsale seemed to regain her composure at DiCaprio’s bash, which also included celebrity guests like Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum and more.
The “Killers of the Flower Moon” star was accompanied by his new girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, who was spotted showing the birthday boy lots of PDA as sources say the couple were “affectionate and kissing” all night long.
With VIP guests partying until 4 a.m. and enjoying a performance from Lil Wayne, we can only imagine what Leo has in store for his 50th next year; Beckinsale’s probably already prepping her outfit.
