Kate Middleton, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis secretly visit UK’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ set

Kate Middleton paid a top-secret visit to the UK’s version of “Dancing with the Stars” over the weekend, with her two youngest children by her side.

The Princess of Wales, 41, took Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, to the set of BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” Saturday, The Sun reports.

The mini royals sat in the judges’ chairs and held up paddles with scores after watching a performance by some of the professional dancers on the show.

They were also introduced to hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly and were given a tour of the costume department, where Louis, fittingly, tried on a gold crown.

The trio, who even got to take in the view from the balcony where the contestants gather above the dance floor, spent two hours at the BBC’s Elstree studios.

Kate and Charlotte are huge fans of ‘Strictly’ so they were delighted to be invited,” a source told the outlet.

“Kate took pictures of the children in the judges’ seats. She seemed really relaxed and was all smiles,” they added. “She was polite, sweet and charming with everyone and made sure Louis didn’t get over-excited.”

“There was a strict security lockdown on set and staff were told not to take any photos,” the source explained. “The children were especially excited and got dressed up. They were thrilled to be on set and to meet their favourite celebrities.”

Middleton and her husband, Prince William, have both spoken about their daughter’s love of dance over the years.

In addition to Charlotte and Louis, the two are also parents to son Prince George, 10.

In September, Middleton said Charlotte enjoys “ballet and tap,” while the Duke of Cambridge was heard telling people she “loves dancing” during the 2018 Commonwealth Day reception.

William, 41, also revealed in 2019 that “Catherine is a huge fan and my mother-in-law loves it.” Previous seasons have featured cameos from Queen Camilla and Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, in the US, the Season 32 finale of “Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+. The remaining five dance duos who will perform in the three-hour finale are Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Xochitl Gomez and Val ChmerkovskiyJason Mraz and Daniella KaragachCharity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev and Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber.
