Kelly Ripa is attempting to play matchmaker for her kids.
While chatting with Lisa Rinna on Thursday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the TV host said she has “tried” to set their kids up for years.
“Yes, true story,” the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, who shares daughters Delilah, 25, and Amelia, 22, with husband Harry Hamlin, said.
Ripa didn’t reveal which of her sons – Joaquin, 20, or Michael, 26 – she had in mind for Lisa’s children, but she did make it clear that Amelia was the one she’d love to have as a daughter-in-law.
“For many, many years I tried,” Ripa comically admitted.
“And then one day, Amelia like, burst onto the runway — I think it was her first fashion show, and I was like, ‘Nevermind, he wouldn’t know what to do with that,’” Ripa laughed. “I texted her like, ‘Forget it, he wouldn’t know.’”

Ripa further gushed over Amelia and her modeling career, saying, “Sometimes when I see your daughter, she is so reminiscent of you that I have to stop.”
“I know, I know. It’s just truly been amazing,” Rinna said of her daughter, who once dated Scott Disick. “It’s so much fun watching her. She’s grown so much. She’s just like, killing it.”
Aside from her two sons, Ripa shares 22-year-old daughter Lola with husband Mark Consuelos, 52.
Recently, the entire family celebrated Lola’s New York University graduation. In May, Ripa posted an Instagram video and wrote, “#HappyGraduation and congrats @theyoungestyung … we are so proud of you.”
And in July, Andy Cohen shared that Ripa and Consuelos’ son Michael is working for Bravo. “So Michael Consuelos is now working, and he worked on ‘Jersey Housewives’, he worked on this new season of [‘Real Housewives of] New York,’ and I keep texting him saying, ‘Who’s your favorite? Who are you enjoying?’” Cohen said while co-hosting the July 13 episode of the talk show.
So dating or not, Ripa’s kids are keeping themselves busy.
