Kim Kardashian has once again proven she’ll do anything to achieve the perfect look.
The Skims founder revealed on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians” that her glam team had to use wig tape to secure her ripped latex pants after she suffered a major wardrobe malfunction before taking the stage at a huge financial conference earlier this year.
Kardashian, 42, explained that minutes before her appearance at Miami’s iConnections’ Global Alts Conference to speak about her new private equity firm, SKYY Partners, she tore her second-skin trousers.
“My hand goes through the latex pants and completely rips the pants. I am freaking the f—k out,” she recalled in a confessional.
“This is a serious, serious, serious business thing and already I’m like, ‘Oh I’m pushing it with the latex leggings,’ but my thing is, I want to be me,” she reasoned of her outfit choice.
The Skkn owner then shared iPhone footage from the “fashion emergency” that showed her business partner, Tracy Romulus, and her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, trying to fix the pants as best they could.
“You guys, this whole piece came off,” Kardashian explained in the video. “They’re trying to glue it back on me with wig tape. They’re gluing my a—. I only have one outfit and my conference starts in 20 minutes, and I have to sit there for three hours; I can’t bend down. They’re sticking tape on my a—.”

Luckily, the mother of four already planned on wearing a long black jacket over her latex pants and matching bralette, which seemed to be her saving grace.
“Thank God my blazer was long, because I had no other options,” she added in the confessional.
Just because her rear end wasn’t out doesn’t mean Kardashian was comfortable, though.
“I was so scared they were gonna keep on ripping,” she recalled of the “painful” fashion faux pas. “I just was dying inside, sitting up on stage, feeling a breeze in my a—.”
Luckily, the panel went as planned — with no sight of Kardashian’s famous tush.
Of course, this was far from the first wardrobe malfunction the lawyer-in-training has endured.
Earlier this year, she shared that pearls started falling off her Schiaparelli Met Gala gown on her way to the red carpet.
“Some popped on the way, and I told my daughter to grab them all,” she explained to Vogue outside New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. “They’re real pearls and she was putting them all in her purse.”
North West, 10, famously accompanied her mother as she walked to the fashion event of the year, but did not attend the actual gala.
And at the 2022 gala, Kardashian had to cover her rear end with a faux fur jacket on the red carpet, as her vintage dress — famously first worn by Marilyn Monroe — would not zip up all the way.
She later caught flak for revealing that she dropped 16 pounds in three weeks to squeeze into the iconic gown.
