Kourtney Kardashian admits she is “so triggered” by her sister, Khloé Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson, following multiple cheating scandals.
During the latest episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kourtney said that both she and her 11-year-old daughter, Penelope, aren’t fans of the NBA player.
“I told her the first day of school, I was so triggered by him,” Kourtney, 44, said as she was waiting for her sister and Thompson, 32, to come over, “I know why, but I feel like we all brush it off and are fine, and then I was just so triggered and I was like, ‘I just can’t do it anymore.’”
In a confessional, the mother of three — who shares Penelope with ex Scott Disick — elaborated, “Tristan has made horrible decisions and choices with my sister.
“There’s times when I’m so triggered by him I can’t be around him and then theres times when I just let it go because we just want harmony and, you know, he’s the father of my niece and nephew.”
Khloé, 39, also reflected on the status of her relationship with the father of True, 5, and Tatum, 1, during the family’s Hulu reality show.
“I”m really proud of myself for where me and Tristan are and how I am able to allow him to be the father he wants to be,” she said.
“But where I am at with Tristan has nothing to do with what I expect my family members to do. If Penelope has feelings about Tristan, rightfully so. And good for you, girl,” the Good American founder continued.
“I want Penelope to have these feelings and I don’t wanna talk her out of them because I don’t want this behavior to be something that I’m validating or I’m justifying. I want her to know that how she feeling is the right way to feel. We should not accept someone treating us like this.”
In an episode last month, Kim Kardashian weighed in on the athlete’s place within the family, and revealed why she refuses to “throw [him] away.”
“It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and he’s such a good dad, but he just couldn’t get it together in that area of being a faithful boyfriend,” she began.
“You want to obviously hate him for that. Yeah, of course, his actions and who he was are so f—ed up, I can’t deny that, and we’ve had our talks about it and had our fights about it … but he’s also shown so many decent things and has been a really good person and friend,” the SKIMS founder continued.
Thompson also stepped up for the four kids Kim shares with her ex, Kanye West.

“When he saw me struggling with my kids, he stepped up,” she explained.
“He started showing up to the games, he picks them up, takes them to dinner, and will always come to my defense, especially if it’s stuff with with me and my ex, and I never really forgot that. I’ll never really throw someone away and act like I don’t feel like they can’t grow and evolve.”
Thompson most recently cheated on Khloé with fitness model Maralee Nichols who requested a paternity test to prove the athlete was the father of her son, Theo.
He previously cheated on the reality star with an Instagram model while she was heavily pregnant with their daughter True in 2018.
She forgave him at the time, however, he became embroiled in another cheating scandal the following year when he kissed Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend, Jordyn Woods at a party.
Thompson was accused — again — of being unfaithful to Khloé with model Sydney Chase in January 2021.
