Kyle Richards has revealed she was “struggling” while filming the new season of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and simultaneously separating from Mauricio Umansky.
“Tonight! Season 13 begins. 13 years… Here we go again,” she began in a lengthy statement on Instagram Wednesday.
“Each season always brings surprise twists and turns. This season more than ever. I am normally one to isolate when I am struggling, so navigating through this time in my life while cameras were rolling was challenging to say the least.”
The longtime “RHOBH” star explained she’s “grateful” for the “fun times,” noting that that’s what has “kept [her] coming back year after year.”
“That and my relationships with the people that make RHOBH. Cast and crew,” she added before teasing, “So, now it’s time to sit back and watch (and for me to relive these moments. Good and bad.).”
Richards ended her post by thanking viewers for tuning in and for “coming along on this wild ride we call life #RHOBH.”
The Bravolebrity received hundreds of supportive comments from friends, family members and fans.
“🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Can’t wait!🥰😘❤️💕🌟,” her sister and former “RHOBH” friend, Kathy Hilton, commented.
“Sending love♥️So hard to relive things with the world sometimes. You’ve got this♥️,” “Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause wrote.
“Well said ❤️❤️❤️,” Chanel Ayan from the “Real Housewives of Dubai” commented, while “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Heather Dubrow added three heart emojis.
“The OG. 💎 The Queen. 👑 Rooting for you this season and every season. 💓,” one user gushed.
“Thank you for opening up your whole life to us for 13 years. Stay strong. You’re an OG for a reason ❤️,” someone else wrote.
“No Kyle, thank YOU for sharing your live with us. We have your back no matter what,” another added.
Richards has faced several challenging situations over her 13 seasons on the hit Bravo show, but Season 13 will center around her marital woes with Umansky for the first time.

“Every time I go online, I see something about someone cheating. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire,” co-star Sutton Stracke said in a confessional in the season’s trailer. “Kyle’s not wearing a wedding band.”
The promo also shows Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, having an emotional conversation with their four daughters, in which she tells them, “We are a very strong family, and we always will be, always will be. You know nothing can change that.”
After going back and forth on their relationship status for months, the reality TV stars finally confirmed in September they are separated after 27 years of marriage.
Umansky has since been photographed holding hands with his “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Emma Slater, while Richards continues to hang out with her close friend, country singer Morgan Wade.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” premieres Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
