Lil Wayne sued for allegedly threatening former bodyguard with assault rifle, punching him in head

Lil Wayne is being sued by a former bodyguard who claims the rapper threatened him with an assault rifle and punched him in the head.

In court documents obtained by the Blast, Carlos Christian accused the “Love Me” hitmaker of assault and inflicting emotional distress during an incident at his home in Hidden Hills, Calif. two years ago.

Christian claimed he opened a bathroom door following an altercation with Wayne, 41, in 2021, to find the singer brandishing a rifle.

TMZ, who was the first to report the story, claimed that Wayne — born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. — got into a row with the bodyguard after accusing him of leaking a photo to the media.

Christian claimed he immediately left the premises and called the police.

Wayne, for his part, has denied the allegations via a spokesperson, adding that he did not even own a gun at the time of the alleged assault.

Reps for Wayne did not return Page Six’s request for comment.

According to the legal docs, the “Lollipop” chart-topper “committed battery against (the bodyguard) in that while holding a gun, punched him on his ear with his fist.”

The docs also claim that the “A Milli” singer “engaged in outrageous conduct, specifically, erratically threatening, assaulting, and battering (him) while holding a semiautomatic rifle.”

The rapper’s former staffer not only claimed that he is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and was forced to seek “mental health treatment,” but also that he was “harmed, including without limitation sustaining a physical and emotional injury, incurring medical bills, and losing immediate wages and having his earning capacity reduced.”

Elsewhere in the filing, Christian referred to Wayne as a “convicted felon with a history of criminal firearm offenses.”

Back in 2009, the musician was caught with a .40-caliber Springfield Armory semi-automatic rifle in his tour bus.

He pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced to one year behind bars.

A decade later, he pleaded guilty to federal gun charges in Florida after authorities found a gold-plated gun on his private jet, however former President Donald Trump famously commuted Wayne’s sentence.

“I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community,” Wayne said at the time.
