“Love Is Blind” star Johnie Maraist hard-launched her new boyfriend on Instagram Sunday after ex Chris Fox admitted to cheating on her.
The lawyer showed off her relationship with Alex Yovanovic in a series of PDA-filled snaps hours after the bombshell revelation aired during the reality show’s Season 5 reunion.
“I’m doing just fine 🩵,” she captioned the video collage, which featured an instrumental version of Adele’s “Someone Like You” playing in the background.
Maraist later celebrated the couple’s one-year anniversary on Monday with more even photos documenting her romance with Yovanovic.
“hell was the journey but it brought me heaven 🩵,” she wrote in the caption. “happy one year, Alex – thank you for showing me what true love is.”
Following the big reveal, fans congratulated Maraist on finding love outside of the pods.
“What an upgrade!! Happiness is beautiful,” one person wrote.

“He’s incredibly handsome! Way better than any options on the show. Congrats Johnie! Both on finding your man and having class on the show,” another chimed in.
“Unbothered queen!! 🤍🤍 ,” a third added.
During the Season 5 reunion, the former reality star first revealed that she had happily moved on after Fox confessed to being unfaithful.
The “Love Is Blind” co-stars confirmed they called it quits when Maraist discovered that the project manager was secretly dating another woman.
“That weekend was my birthday weekend and Chris had a wedding out of state, so he left the state and I didn’t see him,” she recalled.
“And then the next week I didn’t see him, and then I found out the following weekend that Chris was seeing someone else. And yeah, I never saw him again.”
Fox said that he regretted not “being forthcoming” with Maraist.
“I didn’t handle the situation as someone would properly, but I did find someone who I now live with and I love and we’re very happy together. And I’m sorry if that hurts to hear. I know I was wrong,” he said.
“I felt guilty and heartbroken and as many emotions as I could because I did fall in love with [her].”
The pair had a rocky relationship during Season 5 of the hit Netflix show.
After quickly hitting it off in the pods, Maraist was vilified for dumping Fox and then attempting to rekindle their relationship when her other connection, Izzy Zapata, chose to propose to Stacy Snyder.
Although Maraist claimed that she had made a mistake, Fox ultimately rejected her. However, the two later reconnected outside of the pods.
Fox previously told Page Six why he decided to take Maraist back.
“We ended up seeing each other at the airport, which was an incredible experience,” he said.
“And it’s not something you want to pass up. You don’t you don’t pass that up for her trying to make the best choice for herself. And I hold nothing against her.”
