Matt LeBlanc pictured for the first time since shocking death of ‘Friends’ castmate Matthew Perry

Matt LeBlanc was seen for the first time since the tragic death of his “Friends” co-star Matthew Perry, who died at age 54 from an apparent drowning.

LeBlanc, 56, was photographed driving around Sherman Oaks, Calif., by himself on Wednesday — just four days after Perry’s passing.

Although the actor tried to conceal his face with a hat and dark sunglasses, he was noticeably downcast during the drive.

Perry played Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom, which ran for 10 years before ending in 2004, while LeBlanc played Joey Tribbiani.

Just like their characters on the show, Perry and LeBlanc were great friends in real life too, with the latter calling the “Fools Rush In” star his “little brother” during a 2015 interview with People.

LeBlanc is the third “Friends” star to step out since news of Perry’s passing, with David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox being seen earlier this week.

The tight-knit cast, who consider each other family, released a joint statement about Perry’s death on Monday.

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” LeBlanc, Cox, Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow all wrote.

“There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.

“In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement continued. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

Perry’s assistant found him dead in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles home on Saturday afternoon after the actor spent most of the morning playing pickleball.

Law enforcement ruled out foul play and found no illegal drugs at the scene, however, they reportedly found some prescription pills — such as antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication — on the premises.

Although an autopsy has been completed, Perry’s official cause of death has yet to be released as they wait for the toxicology results. However, initial tests proved that Perry did not have meth nor fentanyl in his system, according to TMZ.

Several of Perry’s other close friends have also paid tribute to the late actor since his death, including one of the last people to see him alive.

Athenna Crosby, who dined with Perry just over 24 hours before he died, said the actor “was in extremely good spirits” on Friday and “was so happy and vibrant.”
