Mets owner Steve Cohen’s daughter Sophia gets engaged to CAA agent

At least someone got a ring this season.

Page Six hears that Sophia Cohen — the daughter of Mets owner Steve Cohen — got engaged to CAA agent Harrison Waterstreet last week.

It seems Waterstreet went down on one knee at Cohen’s home in Connecticut and had an intimate celebration with both of their sets of parents.

The groom-to-be has been an agent in the talent giant’s movie division since 2019, and Sophia is an assistant director with the famed Gagosian gallery.

It’s Sophia’s second betrothal.

Page Six reported in August 2019 that the hedge fund heiress, then 26, got engaged to financier Jason Levine, of private equity firm L Catterson, in Montauk.

A source told us back then that the pair “took the quintessential romantic long walk on the beach and ended up engaged,” with Cohen later showing off a “massive oval diamond ring.”

But the pair split up nine months later with a rep for the family telling us, “She is happy and wishes him well.”

Artnet News gossip column Wet Paint reported that Levine had taken back his engagement ring plus “a case of valuable red wine” following the split.

One wonders if the new fiancé might have a future in dad Steve’s Hollywood venture Range Media Partners, which launched last year and quickly snapped up a swath of agents from top Tinseltown firms including his current employer CAA, as well as rivals WME and UTA.

The elder Cohen signed a $2.4 billion deal to buy a majority stake in the Mets from Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz in 2020.

He quickly put together the highest paid team in baseball, but the half-billion dollar salary splurge has yet to result in any championship glory.

Cohen family reps declined to comment.
