Michael Strahan will miss another week on ‘GMA’ because of ‘personal family matters’

Michael Strahan will continue to miss “Good Morning America” this week, ABC told Page Six on Monday, after the former NFL star has already been out for nearly two weeks from the hit morning show.

An ABC spokesperson said in a statement: “Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”

During his “GMA” absence, Strahan has also not been appearing on “Fox NFL Sunday.”

The former Giants star is usually out from “GMA” on Mondays, since he travels back to New York from Los Angeles after his weekend gig hosting football on Fox.

ABC tells Page Six that the star will continue to be out this week.

He hasn’t posted on social media since Oct. 25 — when he promoted an episode of one of his other shows, “The $100,000 Pyramid,” featuring celeb guests Jordan Sparks and Jason Ritter.

Over the weekend, Strahan’s NFL co-host, Curt Menefee, told viewers that Strahan would be out because he was dealing with a personal matter.

During his current absence, ABC anchor Linsey Davis has been filling in with regular hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopolous.

AN ABC rep said Strrahan is out due to a personal family matter.

He has also missed some other scheduled live appearances recently, we hear, including a celeb-filled food festival event last week in NYC. A source told us, “Strahan also had to cancel his appearance [on Nov. 2] at a Harlem EatUp! dinner honoring Tamron Hall and D-Nice.”

We hear the event was hosted by the Harlem festival’s co-founders Marcus Samuelsson and Herb Karlitz, and that guests included Bevy Smith, Kevin Liles, CC Sabathia, chef JJ Johnson, hospitality whiz Tren’ness Woods-Black and more.

The star has also been absent from his NFL hosting duties on Fox.

Spies told Page Six they saw Strahan, 51, late last month at a newly opened New Jersey eatery, Blu On The Hudson. Sources said the star was at the Weehawken restaurant with a party of five.

Strahan joined “GMA” as a full-time anchor in 2016, and has been a “GMA” contributor since 2014.
