It was an Upper West Side story.

The New York Philharmonic, led by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, celebrated Bradley Cooper’s Oscar-nominated “Maestro” film by performing selections by its subject, composer Leonard Bernstein, at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall this week.

Nézet-Séguin was also a consultant on the film which has been nominated for seven Oscars.

Cooper’s co-star Carey Mulligan was also present for the Valentine’s Day event, along with Anna Wintour, Spike Lee, Candice Bergen, Christopher Meloni, Sam Smith, Victor Garber, Matthew Modine, Tovah Feldshuh, Gina Gershon and Ellen Burstyn, among others.

The Philharmonic performed pieces from “West Side Story,” “On the Town” and Bernstein’s Symphony No. 2 and No. 3.

Mulligan – who plays Bernstein’s wife, actress Felicia Montealegre, in the movie – also sang during the performance.

She crooned “Façade – An Entertainment: Sir Beelzebub,” the same musical number her character performs for a TV show in the hit biopic.
