Photo of Cassie’s bruised, cut face resurfaces amid rape, abuse lawsuit against ex Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

A photo of Cassie with a bruised and cut face following an alleged ATV accident resurfaced on social media one day after she filed a bombshell lawsuit against ex Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In the snap, which she shared to her Instagram account in October 2014, the “Me & U” singer smiled as she sported a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses on her way home from Dubai.

She also had a busted lip and a bandage on her forehead seemingly covering a laceration.

“New #raybans 😎 on my way home #toomuchfun #Dubai,” she captioned the now-deleted post.

At the time, several news outlets reported that Cassie had been involved in an ATV accident while in the Middle Eastern city.

Page Six has reached out to both Cassie’s attorney and Diddy’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Fans of the singer resurfaced the photo hours after news broke that the model — whose real name is Casandra Ventura — filed a lawsuit against her ex Diddy, accusing him of raping her, physically abusing her throughout their 10-year relationship, forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes as he watched and introducing her to alcohol and drugs.

According to the court docs obtained by Page Six Thursday, the Bad Boy Records founder — who dated Cassie from 2007 to 2018 — would allegedly punch, beat, kick and stomp on Cassie, “resulting in bruises, burst lips, black eyes and bleeding.”

“Over the next decade, multiple times each year, Mr. Combs would violently beat Ms. Ventura, leaving bruises on her body,” the suit alleged.

“After every instance in which he beat Ms. Ventura, Mr. Combs used his money and power to orchestrate extensive efforts to hide the evidence of his abuse, including by hiding Ms. Ventura in hotels for days at a time to let her bruises heal.”

Cassie claimed the injuries were from an ATV accident in Dubai, however, they were similar to the injuries she listed in her rape and abuse lawsuit against ex Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Cassie, 37, also claimed in the lawsuit that Diddy, 54, forced himself into her apartment in 2018 and raped her.

“She told him to stop and attempted to push him away,” the lawsuit alleged. “Mr. Combs then forcibly pulled off Ms. Ventura’s clothing and unbuckled his belt. He proceeded to rape Ms. Ventura while she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”

The hip-hop mogul’s attorney, Ben Brafman, denied the accusations in a statement to Page Six, claiming that the “Long Way 2 Go” singer had been demanding money from Diddy.

Cassie claimed in the suit that she was repeatedly beaten by the rap mogul.

“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” the lawyer said. “For the past 6 months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.

“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

However, Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, told Page Six that his client and Diddy spoke before she filed the lawsuit and the “Hello Good Morning” rapper allegedly offered her money to remain silent.

Diddy and Cassie dated on and off for 10 years until 2018.

When reached for comment, Cassie told Page Six, “After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.

“With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.”
