Pop icon Pink has taken to social media to reveal some upsetting news to her fans.
The songstress has been on an extensive North American tour featuring her Summer Carnival shows.
However, her tour experienced an unexpected setback when she had to cancel two concerts scheduled in Washington on October 17 and 18.

A statement on her Instagram read: “Tacoma shows postponed: I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows on October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed.
“Live Nation is working on future dates to reschedule. Family medical issues require our immediate attention.
“I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all.”
Unsubstantiated speculation
Many news outlets have wondered if the postponements have anything to do with the misguided association of Maori flags in her show and support for Israel.
The singer jumped on X, formerly known as Twitter, to clear up this misunderstanding, and no other evidence has been indicative of this being the true reason behind the cancellations.

Sinus Infection Disrupts Previous Show
This is not the first time the ‘So What’ singer has had to cancel a show during her tour.
In September, she was unable to take to the stage in Texas due to a severe sinus infection.
She shared her disappointment with fans once again on Instagram.
Fortunately for fans, the show has been rescheduled for November, which marks the final stop on the North American leg of the tour.
Tour to Resume in Sydney
Despite the unexpected hiccups, Pink will continue her tour.
After wrapping up her North American performances, she will take a break and resume in February in Sydney.

A fan favourite across the world
Aussies have a soft spot for Pink, and it seems she loves us too.
She’s performed over 200 shows to date, and her 2009 Funhouse tour made history in Australia by attracting a staggering 660,000 attendees.
And while the exact figure will never be certain, it’s estimated the “Raise Your Glass” singer will walk away from this world tour with close to $20 million.
