Priscilla Presley, Riley Keough remember Lisa Marie one year after her death: ‘Miss you’

Lisa Marie Presley is being remembered by her family one year after she died suddenly from cardiac arrest.

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, honored her memory on X (formerly Twitter) by finding “comfort” in the thought of her reunited with her father, Elvis Presley.

“Today is a very solemn day,” the 78-year-old matriarch began. “It’s been a year since your passing and not a day goes by where I don’t think about and miss you.”

“Rest in peace, Lisa,” she continued. “You are in the arms of your beloved father now. Only that… gives me comfort.”

Lisa Marie’s oldest daughter, Riley Keough, also took to social media to mourn her absence by sharing a throwback photo of the pair from when she was a young child.

The famous mother-daughter duo appeared to be sitting at a diner, playing the peg game that is often found at Cracker Barrel restaurants.

Keough, now 34, smiled at the camera as she rocked a pair of overalls and had some of her hair braided in a side ponytail to keep it out of her face.

Meanwhile, her mom looked down at the board wearing a light gray crewneck sweater and a black hat.

It was later revealed that she died from a small bowel obstruction that appeared after she received bariatric surgery for weight loss.

Her shocking death came just two days after she stepped out with Priscilla at the 2023 Golden Globes to support Austin Butler, who was nominated for — and won — Best Actor for his portrayal of the King of Rock and Roll in the 2022 film, “Elvis.”

Lisa Marie’s pal Jerry Schilling recalled on the first anniversary of her death that she struggled deeply following the loss of her son, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in July 2020.
