Private party for Guns N’ Rose’s Axl Rose floods

Forget the November rain. A party for Axl Rose got shut down by a cold, cold August downpour, Page Six hears.

Sources tell us that a private Gun N’ Roses after party at Nolita bar the Mulberry for the legendary frontman raged ’til almost sunrise Thursday morning, only shutting down when a deluge caused the hip subterranean spot to flood.

While the soggy surprise put an end to the bash, we hear nothing was water damaged.

And before spirits were dampened, the rocker — whose iconic band played a three hour set at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey — was in paradise city at the downtown Manhattan bar.

We hear the rock god shunned the VIP section to hang with fans.

We’re told Rose was initially shown into the spot’s private space, the Whisper Room, but quickly left the secluded area.

“He didn’t want to be in VIP, he wanted to be in the party,” says one reveler.

Rose, 61, was spotted on the dance floor while DJ David Katz spun tunes and the “November Rain” wailer was seen carrying around his own custom bottle of Don Julio 1942 from Diageo with his name engraved on it.

“He was holding court,” says the attendee. “He spoke to everyone. He was the nicest guy. He was telling stories about back in the day and what he is up to now.”

The spot created a special menu for the private party.

A source tells us that “Avatar” actor Sam Worthington was among those mingling with Rose.

The band, which formed in 1985, has been on a world tour and just released a new song, “Perhaps,” which a press release notes is Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan’s “first collective new composition and recording together in 30 years since 1993’s ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’”
