“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Frank Catania Sr. is engaged to girlfriend Brittany Mattessich.
“We’re Engaged!!!! 💎” Mattessich announced in an Instagram post Sunday alongside a photo of the couple standing in front of a beautiful rose wall surrounded by candles.
“I’m so excited to start this next chapter with you along with all the other good things we have going on…” she added.
Mattessich, 33, thanked the Bravo personality, 58, for making her the “happiest girl in the world.”
“I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else other then @frank.catania.sr,” she said. “love you so much my fiancé.”
Catania popped the question in a coordinating outfit with his now-fiancée. The pair both looked casual in blue jeans and a black shirt, though Mattessich accessorized with knee-high black boots and Prada sunglasses.
She also showed off her massive diamond engagement ring which featured what appeared to be a princess cut diamond on a pavé band.
Several Bravo stars flooded the comments section of Mattessich’s post to congratulate the lovebirds.
“Congratulations on the Happily ever after !! So thrilled for you both !! 💍🎉🥂💕💋👧🏼,” Margaret Josephs commented on the post.
“Omg YAYYY!!! Congrats lovebirds!! 😍,” Jackie Goldschneider wrote.
Tamra Judge shared her excitement by simply sharing three heart-eyed emojis.
Several fans also flocked to her social media page to wish the couple a lifetime of happiness.
“OMFG!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I love you both so much!!!!!” one person wrote.
“Omg Congratulations! I’m so happy for you! 😭 Cutest couple ever! You two deserve so much happiness! ” a second fan said.
“ABOUT TIME OMFG YASSSSS,” another cheered.
The pair met back when he served as her trainer for fitness competitions and had been friends for about 10 years before taking things to a more romantic level. They started to date around the beginning of last year.
Frank Sr. was previously married to Dolores Catania, 52, from 1994 to 1998 and they share two kids: Gabby, 28, and Frankie Jr., 25.
Last year, Frank Sr. exclusively told Page Six that his ex-wife and their children have welcomed Mattessich with open arms.
“Gabby says, ‘How do you not like Brittany? You can’t help but like Brittany!’ … It’s not only my daughter; it’s the entire family. And Dolores, too!” Frank told us last August.
Frank Sr. and Dolores remain on good terms to this day and even lived together for a long time following their divorce.

“Before me and Brittany were an item, she knew the relationship between Dolores and I,” Frank Sr. shared.
“And she knew Dolores; she was around Dolores. And when we started dating, I gotta be honest with you, it was not a problem whatsoever.”
He continued, “Brittany came around, [and] it took her a little while just to get used to the semantics. But quite honestly, Brittany is perfectly OK. And the more somebody hangs out with Dolores and I on a casual basis, you realize there’s nothing to worry about.”
Even Dolores’ Irish boyfriend Paul “Paulie” Connell gave his stamp of approval and also celebrated their engagement.
“@missbrittyann @frank.catania.sr congratulations you to love birds ❤️,” Connell commented on Mattessich’s engagemnet announcement.
