Ubah Hassan nearly came to blows with Erin Lichy on a recent episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, and after their on-air feud, she took to her Instagram Story to discuss Erin’s behavior.
Following last Sunday’s episode, in which Erin retaliated against Ubah, who had pushed her into a pool, by hiding her phone, Ubah, 40, explained why she reacted so intensely against Erin, 46, while also accusing Erin of telling a lie that will soon be revealed at the reunion.
While the majority of the RHONY cast, including Sai De Silva, 42, has claimed that all the women are on good terms, despite the drama they endured amid season 14, Ubah seemed to suggest otherwise as she answered questions from fans about Erin’s prank and “difficult people.”
“How do [you] stay centered around unpredictable / difficult people?” one person asked as Ubah held an “Ask Me a Question” session on September 18.
“I don’t!” Ubah replied. “I let them have it.”
Another Instagram user wanted to know more about Ubah’s reaction to Erin’s prank, labeling her a “[hothead]” in the process.
“Why are you such a hot head about your phone?” they asked. “[You’re] the one who left it in the car in the first place.”
“Well, you know us redheads always bringing the heat!” she jokingly replied.
Ubah then shared an additional response to the same IG user, further explaining why she got in Erin’s face and teasing the upcoming reveal of her alleged “lie.”
“The phone was the seed of it all. But she [screams] at me and told me not to mention her f*cking name, even though I was [quiet] the whole day and didn’t talk to her about my phone to her the whole day,” Ubah wrote. “Then, she proceeded to lie about something (watch the reunion).”
Also this week, while appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Erin told host Andy Cohen, 55, that she was “stunned beyond belief” by Ubah’s reaction to her phone prank.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
