‘RHOP’ alum Monique Samuels and ex-husband Chris finalize their divorce

“Real Housewives of Potomac” alums Monique Samuels and Chris Samuels are officially divorced less than six months after their split.

The reality TV stars finalized their divorce on Monday, a representative for the Montgomery County Family Court confirmed to People.

A judge reportedly signed off on the judgement earlier this month after the now-exes met for a final hearing.

However, the terms of their split are unclear as the divorce documents have been sealed.

Reps for Chris and Monique did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

In June, Page Six confirmed that Monique, 39, had filed for divorce from the former NFL player, 46, after 11 years of marriage.

At the time, a spokesperson for the court told us that Monique had actually filed a complaint for absolute divorce in April and then later filed an amended complaint on June 15.

The former couple’s marital woes were well-known between their time on “Love & Marriage: DC” and “RHOP,” which the former Bravolebrity left in 2020 after getting into a physical altercation with co-star Candiace Dillard Bassett.

The pair, who share three kids, have been open about their marriage struggles.

Then in October 2022, sources told People that the pair was separating, which they denied in a joint YouTube video a day later.

“It’s no secret that Chris and I have been struggling in some areas of our marriage and anybody who watched ‘Love & Marriage: D.C.’ last year, y’all saw the arguments, y’all saw everything that was going on,” the mother of three said.

Although Monique said she felt like Chris wasn’t meeting all of her needs, the pair insisted that they were “absolutely not” separating.

“Are Chris and I getting a divorce? No! We aren’t getting a divorce,” she declared. “Are we going our separate ways? Absolutely not, nobody said that. Have we filed a legal separation? No. Have we filed for divorce? No. Is there any document that proves any divorce filings? No. Have we separated to the extent of breaking up? No.”

In June, Page Six confirmed that the pair were heading for divorce.

In fact, both Chris and Monique said they were committed to working “on their personal issues” in therapy.

“We decided we were going to spend a couple of nights apart while we were on our counseling journeys,” she revealed. “We’ve been communicating a lot better than what we have in a long time.”

She continued, “We are most definitely still together, we haven’t given up on our marriage, we did not break up and we are not looking to divorce. We are simply trying to be better.”

While it’s unclear exactly when things took a turn for the worse, Monique reposted a series of cryptic messages to her Instagram Story just days after their divorce was finalized.

While one post was about going into relationships “to give” rather than “to get,” the other was about people revealing their “true colors and their initial intentions.”

The former couple — who share daughter Milani, 8, and sons Christopher, 10, and Chase, 4 — tied the knot in March 2012.
