Former WWE star Mojo Rawley ripped apart his best bud Rob Gronkowski before backtracking and telling Page Six he was “just having a little fun.”
“Rob is lame now. He’s retired. He’s washed up. He’s getting really feeble and brittle,” the pro wrestler, 37, told us at the Playmakers Party at Azilo Ultra Lounge in Las Vegas Thursday.
Rawley then gushed over the event he was attending, which was presented by FHM Magazine and Babes of Toyland, before throwing Gronkowski’s upcoming party under the bus.
“This was the best party last year and you can tell Gronk that I said it,” he said during our red carpet interview.
“I like to give him a hard time, but this is going to be awesome.”
The former NFL player, whose real name is Dean Muhtadi, said Gronkowski’s beach party-meets-music festival “used to be the best party” but now it’s “the worst.”
He then issued a caveat, saying, “Unless you factor in Gordy Gronk, his older brother. Once Gordy shows up, then it’s awesome again, but if it’s just Rob, yeah that’s bad.”
Gronk Beach, which has been dubbed Super Bowl weekend’s best daytime event in the past, is taking place this year on Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. PT at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.
Despite seemingly bashing his BFF’s event, Rawley clarified to Page Six shortly after that he was kidding around.
“Just having a little fun but Gronk Beach is always an unbelievable event,” the former Green Bay Packers player said.
“It is the wildest party usually, and I think this Saturday that’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Gronkowski has been hosting the grand Super Bowl party since 2020, where he first kicked it off in Miami for Super Bowl LIV.

Ahead of this year’s fête, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player recalled on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” when he had a dance-off with Travis Kelce at his annual party.
“That was kind of a tie,” Gronkowski said after watching a clip of them busting some moves.
“I mean, we’re great dance partners. Imagine if we were teammates on the field on the same team, as well? Oh man, that would be pretty impressive.”
It’s unclear if Kelce will attend this year’s Gronk Beach, as he and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face off against the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
