Save on an upgraded version of this Oprah-loved Kindle at Amazon’s Big Spring sale

When it comes to discovering new products, Oprah practically wrote the book.

And in 2013, the famed “Favorite Things” list curator gave e-books her coveted stamp of approval, featuring the original Kindle Paperwhite on her annual roundup.

Now, with Amazon’s Big Spring Sale here in full force, Prime members can shop the upgraded Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition ($190 $160) on sale for nearly 15% off.

Unlike previous editions, the signature version includes 32GB of storage, an auto-adjusting front light for easy reading and wireless charging capabilities. (What’s more, a single charge is designed to last up to 10 weeks.)

“Take this reader to the beach!” Winfrey instructed on her list. “A higher-contrast screen cuts glare outdoors, while a built-in light reduces eyestrain indoors.”

These days readers are just as obsessed, as the portable product’s racked up over 24,700 largely positive ratings.

“The display is crisp and clear, making reading a joy even in bright sunlight,” one raved. “The adjustable warm light feature really is a game-changer, allowing me to read comfortably in any lighting conditions.”

Another called it “a great purchase for any avid reader,” while a third likened it to carrying “a ‘library’ in my purse.’”

It’s not the only Oprah-loved label on sale right now, however. If you’re looking to further take a page from the media mogul’s book, don’t forget to check out our guide to all of her discounted “favorites” — including the Orolay Down Jacket and AirPods.
