Scooter Braun shares post about ‘new life’ after Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber exodus

Scooter Braun knew embarking on his “new life” was going to cost him his “relationships and friends” amid a mass exodus of his A-list clients.

The talent manager — widely known for skyrocketing Justin Bieber to international stardom — shared a lengthy quote from author Brianna Wiest on Instagram Tuesday.

“Your new life is going to cost you your old one. It’s going to cost you your comfort zone and your sense of direction,” the quote, which he described as “perfect words,” began.

“It’s going to cost you relationships and friends. It’s going to cost you being liked and understood. It doesn’t matter,” the message continued.

“The people who are meant for you are going to meet you on the other side. You’re going to build a new comfort zone around the things that actually move you forward.”

The quote also said that “instead of being liked,” you will “be loved.”

“Instead of being understood, you’re going to be seen. All you’re going to lose is what was built for a person you no longer are,” Wiest’s message concluded.

Braun also shared the post to his Instagram Story, writing, “Trust in the timing, it’s all a gift for you.”

Braun’s new look on life comes a few weeks after reports claimed his top talent had left his management firm, SB Projects, namely Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel.

Although the “Sorry” singer’s reps quickly shut down the rumors, other sources told Page Six that “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

It quickly became clear that Braun was restructuring his business after taking on a new role as CEO of Hybe America.

“All of Scooter Braun’s clients are under contract, and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as Hybe America CEO,” a source familiar with the situation told Page Six last month.

The insider also insisted that “SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like.”

However, two notable clients have jumped ship amid the restructuring. Lovato, 31, made the decision to drop Braun last month, and Menzel, 52, swiftly followed suit, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Braun coyly poked fun at the situation — and the ensuing media circus — in a social media post last month.

“Breaking news… I’m no longer managing myself,” he tweeted.

Braun is also renowned for purchasing Taylor Swift’s master recordings in 2019, which he sold for more than $300 million in 2020.

The “Love Story” singer said she was “grossed out” by the purchase which “stripped [her] of [her] life’s work.” She is currently re-recording her first six albums.
