Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs once ‘threatened to hit’ pregnant Kimora Lee Simmons, resurfaced interview claims

Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly once threatened Kimora Lee Simmons while she was pregnant, according to a 2004 profile of the fashion designer.

The New York Magazine interview — which resurfaced amid Cassie’s lawsuit accusing the record producer of sex trafficking, physical abuse and rape — claimed Simmons “said something to Combs and he threatened to hit her.”

The Baby Phat creator chimed in, “I was pregnant! The moron!”

The story noted that “Combs eventually got down on his knees in public to apologize” to Simmons.

While Diddy did not provide a comment to the publication at the time, Simmons gave an update on their dynamic.

“I respect him for being a fierce entrepreneur, and I appreciate knowing that everything he does is emulating my husband,” she said, referencing Russell Simmons, from whom she has since split.

Page Six has reached out to Diddy and Simmons’ lawyers for comment on the alleged threat.

The rapper, 54, responded to Cassie’s explosive allegations Thursday, with attorney Ben Brafman issuing a “vehement” denial.

“For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship,” he said.

Simmons called him a “moron” but said she did still “respect” him.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, subsequently told Page Six that Diddy allegedly offered “eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” adding, “She rejected his efforts.”

While Kimora, 48, has yet to directly address the bombshell lawsuit, she seemingly commented with an Instagram Story post Friday.

“‘As you sow, so you shall reap,’” the “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” alum wrote, alongside a red heart emoji.

On Friday, Simmons posted a cryptic message seemingly in response to Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie’s lawsuit.

Notably, Kimora was close friends with Diddy’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Kim Porter, with whom he raised four children.

When Porter died in November 2018, Kimora told her Instagram followers that she “rushed to” her late pal’s house before coming to terms with the fact that Porter “would not come” out.

Porter dated Diddy from 1994 to 2007, at which point he sparked romance rumors with Cassie.

Although the “Me & U” singer allegedly “tried to escape his tight hold over her life,” her court documents claim that “every time she hid, Mr. Combs’s vast network of corporations and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr. Combs’s companies implored her to return to him.”

Cassie and Diddy split for good in 2018, and she moved on with personal trainer Alex Fine.

The couple have been married since August 2019. They share daughters Frankie and Sunny, born in December 2019 and March 2021, respectively.
