Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs restricts Instagram comments after ex Cassie sues for rape, abuse

Sean “Diddy” Combs limited who can comment on his social media uploads after ex Cassie accused him of rape and repeated physical and sexual abuse.

Fans noticed that the music mogul, 54, restricted his Instagram comment section Thursday — despite having them on right before Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed her lawsuit against him.

In fact, Combs posted a promo for his new music just hours ahead of the filing, with comments pouring in until around 4 p.m. ET when the lawsuit first made headlines.

According to court docs obtained by Page Six, the “Me & U” singer claims the abuse started right after she began dating the music executive in 2005, when she was only 19.

Cassie alleges that Combs, who she claims “was prone to uncontrollable rage,” would give her drugs and force her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed.

The 37-year-old alleges that the emotional and physical abuse occurred throughout their long-term relationship, which ended in 2018.

Right before their split, Cassie claims Diddy forced his way into her home and raped her.

According to the suit, she allegedly joined the rapper for dinner one night to discuss “concluding their relationship for good.”

The decision seemingly came right after Cassie filed her bombshell lawsuit.

“I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in a statement to Page Six.

However, once Combs took her home, he allegedly forced himself onto her.

“She told him to stop and attempted to push him away,” the lawsuit reads. “Mr. Combs then forcibly pulled off Ms. Ventura’s clothing and unbuckled his belt. He proceeded to rape Ms. Ventura while she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”

While Cassie has remained silent for many years, she claims that those close to the Sean John founder knew about the abuse — even witnessing the alleged “beatings” — but chose to keep quiet.

“After years in silence and darkness,” Cassie said in a statement to Page Six, “I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

The pair dated from 2005 until 2018.

She decided to speak up now because New York’s Adult Survivors Act is about to expire and “it became clear” that this was “an opportunity” for her to speak about the “trauma” she has experienced and “will be recovering from for the rest of [her] life.”

However, Diddy’s attorney, Ben Brafman, denied the “baseless and outrageous” accusations in a statement to Page Six, claiming Cassie is trying “to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation” for “a payday.”

“For the past 6 months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,” Brafman stated.

However, Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, insisted that the parties involved spoke before the suit was filed and Diddy allegedly tried to pay for Cassie’s silence.

“Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” Wigdor told us. “She rejected his efforts.”
