Call it a Christmas miracle.
Ahead of the holidays, Selena Gomez showed off two perfectly festive party looks in Paris over the weekend — both accessorized with the same sparkling purse from Aupen, the bag brand that’s become a Hollywood hit in recent months.
First, the “Only Murders In the Building” actress styled her crystal-encrusted Miracle bag ($280) with a black tweed Valentino blazer ($5,500) trimmed with sparkling embellishments, letting the thigh-length jacket do double duty as a minidress and completing her look with Jimmy Choo sandals ($975).
Later that same day, she showed us a more formal way to wear the party-ready purse at ex Samuel Krost’s wedding, pairing it with a classic black slip dress, a Mango faux fur coat ($200) and semi-sheer Wolford tights ($50).
While Gomez might be the Brooklyn-based brand’s biggest celebrity fan — she’s also carried the similarly sparkly Purpose Ice ($240) and the pale pink version of the braided-handled Nirvana ($340) — she’s far from alone in her appreciation for the petite purses.
The star’s BFF Taylor Swift has toted the black Nirvana ($340) twice, including during a date night with Travis Kelce in October, while the curved Fearless ($340) has popped up on the arms of Kylie Jenner, Gabrielle Union, Karlie Kloss and Jennifer Lawrence.
Hailey Bieber and Olivia Rodrigo, meanwhile, are partial to the Purpose ($180), a slim and slanted style that’s also been spotted on Gal Gadot and Dakota Johnson.
“Influenced by art and architecture, we wanted to move away from the idea of perfection and embrace irregularity and to truly appreciate beauty with all its flaws,” Aupen’s design team — which opts to stay anonymous — recently told Page Six Style of its purses’ signature asymmetrical silhouettes.
