Selena Gomez teases new song ‘Single Soon’ in sequins and pearls

This is her “Revival.” 

Selena Gomez shocked and delighted fans when she teased new music on Instagram Thursday (after taking a break to focus on her Rare Beauty brand and “Only Murders in the Building” Hulu show) while wearing sassy sequins and pearls.

The “Lose You To Love Me” singer proved she can’t keep new music to herself when she shared the news about her upcoming song “Single Soon” in a series of Instagram photos.

Gomez paired the coat with a pearl necklace and a sequined cowl neck metallic top, matching her lavender lids. 

In another behind-the-scenes snap from the music video shoot, the “Same Old Love” singer wore the double strand pearl necklace with a pink sequined top. 

Gomez even gave fans a sneak peek into her outfits for the shoot – thanks to her new stylist Erin Walsh – which include a yellow faux fur coat and plenty of ‘70s-worthy disco-ready sequins.

The very last slide includes Polaroids from the shoot and a post-it note that reads: “I’m sorry I can’t don’t hate me,” referencing the infamous “Sex and the City” episode where Jack Berger breaks up with Carrie Bradshaw via the little yellow piece of paper. 

“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while,” Gomez, 31, announced. “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.”

One Instagram fan pointed out, “This dress looks like lavender haze,” as others wondered if she was hinting at a collaboration with her best friend, Taylor Swift.

Swift wears a similar oversized faux fur Oscar de la Renta jacket to perform “Lavender Haze” on the Eras Tour. 

The star’s new single is dropping on August 25 — and surely fans hope it won’t be a “Rare” appearance.
