Serena Williams has all the love she needs at home.
The retired tennis pro got some comforting cuddles from her 3-month-old baby daughter, Adira River, Tuesday after revealing she was having a rough day.
She showed off the sweet moment on X, formerly Twitter, with a precious photo of her little one snuggled up to her chest in a blue polka-dot blanket.
“This makes me so happy,” she captioned the pic.
Just a few hours before sharing the picture, Williams, 42, got vulnerable on the social media platform about her mental health.
“I am not ok today. And that’s ok to not be ok. No one is ok every single day. If you are not ok today I’m with you,” she wrote.
“There’s always tomorrow 😘 Love you.”
The 23-time Grand Slam champion immediately received positive messages from fans thanking her for her honesty.
“This spoke to me. Thank you for these energy giving words. I have prayed for you, you will be okay! I will be okay also,” one person commented.
“Thank you for being open about your feelings,” another replied.
“Remember to practice self-compassion and reach out to loved ones when you need support. Together, we can get through the challenging moments,” a third added.
“Your light has illuminated many.”

Williams’ candid post came just one week after she took to TikTok to showcase the realities of motherhood after attending the 2023 CFDA Awards.
The humorous video started with a glamorous shot of the tennis legend posing in an elegant, sequined gown before cutting to a clip of Williams looking tired as she pumped breast milk.
“What my life is really like… It’s not as glamorous as you think,” the mother of two wrote in the caption.
She also got real about mom life in October by sharing a snap of herself working out while her 6-year-old daughter, Olympia, stared her down.
“Olympia watching me try to get my ab muscles working again. Here comes fitness!” she captioned the shot.
And back in September, she posted a tweet expressing her awe for all parents.
“Having 2 kids is def not easy. How do you moms/ dads do it so well!!!??? Especially when one gets sick? Mad respect,” she wrote.
Wiliams, who has been open about motherhood and mental health for years, dedicated her 2018 runner-up finish at Wimbledon to mamas around the world.
“I dedicated that to all the moms out there who’ve been through a lot,” she told Time in 2018.
“Some days, I cry. I’m really sad. I’ve had meltdowns. It’s been a really tough 11 months. If I can do it, you guys can do it too.”
The Olympic gold medalist also opened up about her tough decision to retire from tennis in 2022 to focus on her family — a choice she said affects women more than men.
“If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family,” she wrote in an essay for Vogue.
“Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity.”
