T.J. Holmes and Charles Barkley got together for a late-night meetup at a lounge in New York City Wednesday night, Page Six has exclusively learned.
An eyewitness spotted the television personalities at Faces and Names Bar & Lounge in midtown Manhattan close to midnight.
They were joined by a mystery blonde, who was dressed smartly in a dark pink button-down shirt and a black blazer.
It does not appear that Holmes’ girlfriend and podcast co-host, Amy Robach, was present for the outing.
The group was seen in deep conversation and the subject matter appeared to be serious at points as they had stern looks on their faces, according to photos seen by Page Six.
Barkley, 60, was dressed professionally in the same shirt, vest and tie that he wore earlier in the day on the set of his new CNN show, “King Charles.”
Holmes, 46, for his part, appeared more casual in a black long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.
It is unclear if the meeting was a friendly catch-up or if the men have a project or interview in the works.
Page Six has reached out to their reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Barkley and Holmes both have new media platforms, in which they could ideally foster a sit-down.
Earlier this month, Barkley launched “King Charles” alongside renowned journalist Gayle King.
The weekly primetime show airs Wednesdays on CNN, and is meant to be a show in which the former NBA star and CNN anchor discuss news and culture while taking calls.

Meanwhile, Holmes and Robach, 50, also just premiered their podcast, “Amy and T.J.,” this month with a bombshell episode in which they talked about their “messy” cheating scandal.
Page Six exclusively reported in November 2022 that the former ABC journalists had been secretly dating for months with one insider telling us at the time, “They were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret.”
The couple recently opened up about their mental health during the debacle with Robach sharing that she felt like she wanted to “die” after the fallout of their rumored affair.
“I just didn’t want to get up,” she said on her podcast. “I didn’t want to see what new headlines was going to be out there,” adding that she did a “welfare check” on Holmes during a “terrifying” moment.
Although Robach and Holmes have been very transparent on their podcast episodes so far, they have yet to sit down with another journalist who can push back on their alleged affair — which they have denied.
It’s unclear if Barkley was attempting to snag the highly coveted interview, but we’re told it wasn’t all business between him and Holmes during their night out.
A source tells Page Six exclusively that the duo, who were seated in a table in the back alongside what seemed to be other friends, took a moment to say hello to fans.
“They were taking pics with lots of people in the bar, who were fanning out and chatting them up,” an eyewitness tells us exclusively. “They were both very nice and seemed to having fun.”
