Taylor Swift reaches billionaire status with Eras Tour success: report

It’s been far from a Cruel Summer for Taylor Swift.

The global pop sensation, 33, has officially built a billion-dollar empire following the major success of her Eras Tour this year, according to a Bloomberg News analysis.

The outlet reported Swift’s wildest dreams came true as she reached a staggering net worth of $1.1 billion that she raked in with the help of her 146-date worldwide tour.

The US leg of the historic tour alone has added $4.3 billion to the country’s gross domestic product, the outlet notes.

The 12-time Grammy winner’s tour is on track to becoming the highest-grossing tour in history.

Ticket sales for the tour crashed Ticketmaster’s website in Nov. 2022 when the infamous debacle left many Swifties ticketless and instead saw the tickets being sold to resellers.

The ordeal saw fans kicked from virtual queues, prompting backlash and lawsuits against the ticketing company.

The singer herself spoke out at the time on behalf of disappointed fans, prompting a groveling apology from Ticketmaster.

The Eras Tour is on track to rake in a whopping $4.1 billion, which could see Swift make the biggest profit from a single tour in history, the Washington Post reports.

But the tour isn’t the only driving force behind Swift’s staggering net worth.

The “New Romantics” hitmaker, who boasts an impressive real estate portfolio worth over $80 million alone, made her well-earned cash “through music and performing alone,” Bloomberg notes, making the achievement even more impressive.

What’s more, Swift’s empire is set to get even bigger with the release of her new “Eras Tour” film that hit theaters on October 13.

The film cashed in over $80 million in advanced sales, and has grossed over $130 million worldwide so far.

Swift’s success is not only monetary, as she was this week revealed as the most-nominated artist at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards ceremony.

Securing an impressive 20 nods Thursday, Swift is up for awards such as Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, and Top Hot 100 Artist.

News of Swift’s financial success came just hours ahead of the re-release of her “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” album, which was originally released in 2014.

Aside from her professional achievements, the singer’s personal life seems to have just as much buzz taking place.
