Taylor Swift responds to fan thanking her for close bond with daughter: ‘I’m so moved’

Taylor Swift reached out to a fan who posted an emotional TikTok video thanking the singer for bringing her closer to her daughter.

“You just reminded me of why this year has been so special,” the “Lavender Haze” singer commented Thursday.

“I’m so moved by what you said. It reminds me of me and my mom and the memories we made at that age.”

On Wednesday, a TikToker named Jenny thanked Swift for being the reason she and her daughter got to spend so much time together this year.

Speaking to the Grammy winner directly, Jenny said she “grew up” listening to Swift and how her 9-year-old daughter “looks up to” the singer for “everything.”

“We went to the movie together five times,” the single mother shared, adding that the two attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert several times.

“We have had so much fun,” she tearfully said.

“For my daughter to sit there and be like, ‘I’ve had the best year with you…,’” Jenny shared, adding that hearing her daughter say that meant “so much to [her].”

“I just want you to know that you have changed my ‘mom’ heart and [you] have brought my daughter and [me] closer together.”

Swift, 34, has shown a personal side to her fans a handful of times during her successful international Eras Tour.

In May, the pop star was filmed yelling at a security guard for harassing attendees who were “just dancing” in the front row of a Philadelphia show.

“Stop!” Swift yelled in between lines while performing “Bad Blood.”

“She’s fine! She wasn’t doing anything!” she screamed at the security guard.

The women were later gifted free tickets to a show the following day by Swift’s team as an apology for the unfortunate experience.

Despite the happy ending to that story, the singer’s 60-show tour hasn’t been without its tragedies.

In November, Ana Clara Benevides went into cardiac arrest at one of Swift’s Rio De Janeiro shows as a deadly heatwave made unsafe conditions for concertgoers.

The 23-year-old later suffered cardiac arrest a second time en route to the hospital and was later declared dead.

Swift postponed her show the following day and issued a statement on the young girl’s passing.

“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” her Instagram note began. “I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this.”

The “Cruel Summer” singer seemingly paid tribute to Benevides’ death when she took the stage following the tragic news by playing her song “Bigger Than The Whole Sky.”

She also later invited Benevides’ family to her final show in South America, posing with the grief-stricken family backstage as they wore shirts with the late student’s face printed on the front.
